Is this open to all majors?
Yes, The Analytics Accelerator Meetup is open to all majors and years of UT students.

Can graduate students/alumni participate?
This event is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni. However, if you are an alumni, you must have at least one team member who is a current student at UT.

When should teams sign up by?

The sign up deadline is TBD. It will be set in early Fall 2024 before the initial event.

 

What is the layout Initial Event pitches?
Teams will have a 15 minute presentation time with 10 minutes of Q&A from judges. After their pitch, teams will receive feedback to further develop their start-up and pitch. 6-8 teams will be chosen to proceed to the Demo Day round.

Are teams able to stay for the full Initial Event?
Yes, even though teams are only required to attend for their scheduled pitch time, they are more than welcome to stay and meet other teams, judges, and industry experts! We will also be providing food and hosting networking sessions throughout the event.

Who will be present on Demo Day?
Demo Day is held at the Center for Analytics Global Analytics Summit. Industry experts, venture capitalists/investors, and conference attendees will be present for Demo Day pitches.
